Alfred C. Anderson . . . Currently serves as the Roanoke County Treasurer for Roanoke County, Virginia and has held this position since first being elected as treasurer in 1971. Mr. Anderson is a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Sciences.
Mr. Anderson serves on the Boards of the Virginia Recreational Facilities Authority holding the position of Treasurer for the organization, as well as, Vice-Chairman of the Governor's Commission on National and Community Services. He also is the Treasurer of the Vinton Masonic Lodge number 204 and is an Associate Patron of the Vinton Order of the Eastern Star (OES) number 36.
Mr. Anderson is an active member of the Advisory Board of the Blue Ridge-Southwest Virginia Film Office where he holds the position of Treasurer for the Fund Raising Committees and has held the position of President for various associations throughout the years.
